1. GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR ALLOCATION OF SUBJECT COMBINATIONS

• Students’ choices

Students need to choose based on their aptitude, interests, and future post-secondary options and submit their final choice during the Sec 3 subject combination exercise in October.

• Availability of vacancies in each subject (subject to School Resources and ranking order will be taken into account when the number of applicants exceeds the number of places allocated)
